the other day; oober pasario at muertos. Tule gota crazy one around the rocks and had to leap frog a boulder. sketch ditch. cant get enuff of this spot. it was knda small today so we just chilled around the house. muchu and i got a hucky boost sesh in the afternoon. some good clean holiday fun; not a holiday however. went to barra for dinner: found a sweet taco joint that serves complimentary carne asada chunks in the side orders of grilled onions.... the antigrind. leaving tomorrow. my future looks grim. hopefully a sesh in manzanillo on the way to guatalajara (soo many a's in guAtAlAjArA). and if its rainy and cold when i get home im gonna hurl my cell phone out the window on the 5 frwy. whatup caltrans?

im getting circled by bats right now in melaque. i think they can smell my veggie blood. u cudnt pay me to speak down on this place. chillin level 10 maxed out. trip recap: san diego greyhound to tijuana redeye to guatalajara for sunrise. four hour drive to hidden fresh cut cilantro siders that took 20 wrong turns to find. soobs good sider sesh on the backside. frothing....checked out Diego's store in manzanillo. its sick. mite get to paint a wall in there. day 2 muertos. more oobs. the local kids are killing it soo hard now: fillete de pescado on the daily; contest conditions were grimy(and yes that means good) as standard. caught a chuck d late afternoon air sesh. wind and all but mad crazy fun. lost today to fido the loc dog fs guru. no shame in that. mo and sammy in the finals: sammy straight murdare: tripas and muchu in the semi like two giraffes dukin it out: neck to neckin it: no idea who took 3rd/ps like my flower pic? i make art now? mo just spotted a ghetto geko running the wall. doin a wall stall like chris walltholl. who knows what is to come. i may just never leave. sorry james.....

woke up today, stretched, and said "yes ......today i will shred the gnar" saw Bailey in town after a little heidelburgler breakfast. we cruzed down to aliso to find some buttery biscuits. shreded with geo and hunter for a bit but the sesh was short lived. went home, refuled, and cruzed back for an evening sider sesh. got a few fun ones. def woke up on the right side of the bed. love the shred

so i just remembered about this blog i gots. oobs killer. havent skimmed in a month. had a sesh at aliso a month ago and destroyed my ankle. worth it. epic fire gnar-gnar sesh for hours. im in hawaii right now. my sis just had a baby so im out here helping take care of the little runt. his name is felix carron.....what a G! was up on the north shore yesterday. inside sunset had some speedy little lefts before sunset. went out to my buddys ranch up past turttle bay. sick spot deep in the cut. met the most loke shaper on the north shore. his shaping room is like a 1/2 hour in the middle of the jungle. turns out he tried shaping skims for a while also but couldnt keep up with vic so he kept to the surf sticks. he had a couple of sick legendary hobbie long boards oobs sick. i did a backflip off the s. side of the wiamea rock. pretty fun. chilled w some locs i met at the beach. didnt really know what they were saying their pigeon was soo heavy. funny sh!t. tomorrow my sis got me a hawaiian massage for my b day (which is coming up-killer im almost 30) which i am pretty hyped about. just finished art for my new board. should be sick. hope there are some waves when i get home jonsin' for a skim sesh. as for now its time to make like tom and cruz

sup party people in the place to be, hands in the air if ur a g not a lee....sumthn to think about. so lets recap on the contest. first round, consensus: meag! absolute meag. only thing worth mention was domkee boosting a sick fs indy. clean like james dean! round two bcs murder sesh. beak dog m.d.k. mmmm who else? tim fultonovich bringin the skate vibe late shuv upside ur dome. domkee gettn mad techy and nobody even knows what he is doing let alone scoring him. i sucked the big one and couldnt find a wave like a blind man in nevada. I respectfully resigned. sammy.... im just going to break sammys legs.... second round was epcot center. missed round three i dont do mornings! semi finals were more fun than a box of moldy bannannas. erryone was chuckn d. the second heat i coundt tell who was gna make it to the finals but good show. the final was glazed ice and hozen. mad switchness by mo beak and paulo. bcs fs liner minni inni to pop tre shoofle' prob the highlight of the final. beaks rap shuv air drop was mad hectic. he got a illy goofy rap way down the s end that no one even saw. it was a s#!t show to say the least. then i peaced. missed beaks pemiere cuz the whitehouse is a bunch of capitolist fatheads who hate fun and me. minni sesh at oak the other day fs pop shuv revert...what do u know? two night ago took a kayak out after sunset for red tide......beyond words but i will try. luminescent turpuoise aqua fantasia land with schools of flourescent baby blue firework fish darting about. then bigger fish and bigger fish until we got chased to shore by a rabid shark that turned out to be a rock with waves splashing on it. my b. highly recommended! oging to take my beater ducktape and super glue doyle out for a sesh and hopefully find some skim.

Muchu just got me on the team (unofficially) and i got me some new lens covers. if ur interested in a pair ill sell u mine for 500$ import tax is a motha .... theese days. caught a fun sesh at aliso the other day with koty. june gloom grey cloudy fun followed up by a jaccuzi sesh compliments of aliso creek in or whatever they call it these days. and did you know that there are fat fish maloking in aliso creek? fecal spotted sea bass i think. who woulda? and watch out joe baily a took some epic shots of muchu sun at aliso. they will probably be nominated for some kind of photography award or something. and win. ps. modeski martin and woods are soo good!

just woke up and its the morning after the contest. we had fat swell chillin all weekend. some of the best contest conditions i have ever seen. the contest was about 50 ft from diego's pad so it was a constant cycle of eating skimming and chilling in his pool. The heats were stacked from the first round even though there was only 13 pros. everyone was killing it and it was hard to say who was gonna make out of their heat. Sat night we all went out to a town called Barra. It was one of Diego's friends 21st b-day and he had two groups of friends that played live music in one of the bars. Last year when we went to Barra my buddy Derik and I convinced a whole bar full of people that we were olympic bobsleders from switzerland. Good stuff. This year was sick though. Drew peace got on the mic for the opening song and did sublime, pawn shop. Then we got Muchu up on stage (against his will) and he sang a Manu Chao song. It was tight and the whole bar was going crazy. After that we body surfed and the dark before passing out. Sunday was even better skim. the second round was 2 man heats, and then a 4 man final. Muchu was owning it all weekend and got 3rd. Huesos from Cabo got 4th. That kid really murders it. I got 2nd and Mo took it. getting some video clips of my heats in a few days so check it out.

boca de los muertos on wed morning. muchu was getting beat all day with the water housing and it looks like i should be about two peaks down the beach. it was insane shorebreak all morning and i saw mad oval offices. As the swell increased all day the beach in front of diego`s turned on. i just sat on the beach and watched everyone from melaque, accupolco, and cabo shred the gnar. dope sunset behind this giant rock that looks like a rhino-dragon-lockness monster. lockness? thats probably not how you spell that.........

sup cyberworld. i got a blog now so all you haters will have tons of fresh material. just got to melaque with mo and matthieu. this place is amazing. ten peso fish tacos to the face! and mad tubos. the locals are still schooling us tho so we got some work to do. goin to get more tacos and estrella so stay tuned for pics and clips of the trip
